 Do you remember these questions? Are you Ready? Are you Prepared? Are you using the buddy system? Jeremy Soles, with Team E.X.T.R.E.M.E., painted a very realistic picture for us during our February Membership meeting. He shared many statistics with us that really had us thinking. I have heard from many of you on how much you enjoyed the program and that your awareness factor has increased. Jeremy said, "Your greatest weapon is your mind combined with awareness, detection, and deterrence techniques. Be Alert; Protect Yourself; Defend; Distance Yourself; Fight to the End." Andrea Carnes, Program Director, met Jeremy at ChemTreat where he taught selfdefense classes for her company. March marks the six-month mark for our Chapter Board year. That is so hard to believe. It seems like only yesterday the Board was installed and we talked about Endless Opportunities. We are making great strides towards our goals and we are going to share that with you very soon. CenterStage is the place to be on Thursday, March 11, 2010 at 5:30 pm. Dolly Vogt, Executive Director, is very excited to host a VIP group in this beautiful facility, and EWI of Richmond is privileged to have such an amazing opportunity. Many hours have been spent to make this a special night for us, so please join us. Andrea Carnes' report includes more details about this event so please be sure to read the information provided. EWI of Richmond continues to raise the bar. We have Endless Opportunities! In the next few months, we will have a Firm Night at Luck Stone and we will award our EWISP and ASIST scholarships! And for our June event, we will be hosting a Women's Symposium, "Redefining Success in Today's Economy", on Saturday June 12, 2010. Save the Dates are being mailed out shortly to all EWI Chapter Presidents along with special invitations being extended to the Corporate President and Board. At our next planning meeting we will discuss promoting the event, sponsorships, and vendor booth opportunities for companies in the area. More information will be available for you to share with your firms and other(s) with in our community. I greatly appreciate your time and talent that you bring to EWI of Richmond!
